2021 Safer Schoolies Registration

Location: Surfers Paradise Beach, Gold Coast
31 May, 2021 - 31 Jul, 2021

Getting an official Safer Schoolies wristband for the Gold Coast is easy – you just need to pre-register online and then visit the Wristband Centre (with your registration confirmation) when you arrive. Wristbands are FREE for legitimate 2021 Year 12 school leavers.

Wristbands grant you with access to Schoolies Hub on the beach in Surfers Paradise. The Schoolies Hub offers 7 nights of entertainment from Saturday 20 November to Friday 26 November, in a dedicated drug and alcohol-free area, where you can celebrate exclusively with your peers.

Important to note:

  1. In order to collect your physical wristband, you will need to prove your identity and that you are a legitimate Year 12 school leaver in 2021, when you arrive on the Gold Coast for Schoolies. The easiest way to do this is to bring along your School ID.
  2. Ensure you have a valid school ID: (Insert School ID infographic here) – with hyperlink back to ID/rego FAQs on Safer Schoolies page: ‘worried your ID doesn’t comply? You’ll need to be prepared. Visit our FAQs page for what to do next’
  3. Your wristband will have a RFID chip slider which contains your personal information – it’s unique to you.  DO NOT REMOVE THIS SLIDER OR WRISTBAND. Entry to the Schoolies Hub will not be granted if the slider is missing or damaged.
  4. There are no repeat wristbands.
  5. No wristband + slider = no entry to the Schoolies Hub.
  6. When you enter the Schoolies Hub, you agree to adhere to the Conditions of Entry (here) – make sure you read through these now so you understand the rules.
  7. Remember: Your Safer Schoolies wristband is a privilege, not a right. It can be taken away if you are doing the wrong thing.
